panewbie01 Posted February 1, 2024 I’ve been practicing for 6 years and had a malpractice incident that ended up in a settlement and a public letter of concern for my state med board. I have lost a lot of sleep and weight over it but I’ve learned from it and moved on with my life. The current practice I am at is sinking and I have a great new job opportunity that requires multiple state licensure. Do you all think I will have trouble or be denied a state medical license because my malpractice history? Quote
ohiovolffemtp Posted February 2, 2024 There's probably no way to know for certain without applying to each state where you'll need licensure. You might be able to get a preliminary indication by consulting a law practice that has represented people before those states' medical boards. Quote
