Research study investigating the utilization of prenatal screenings in Arizona

Recommended Posts

You are invited to participate in a research study investigating the utilization of prenatal screenings in Arizona. This study is being conducted by Ileana Trujillo, a second year student at the University of Arizona Genetic Counseling Graduate Program

The aims of this study are to provide baseline data on cell free-DNA (cf-DNA) screening utilization in Arizona and identify how providers are discussing cf-DNA screening with patients. The data provided in this study will be used to create a shared-decision aid that will support providers in facilitating discussions around cf-DNA screening and help patients make informed decisions.

All providers who currently practice in the state of Arizona and see patients who are pregnant are eligible to participate in this study. If you decide to participate, you will be asked to take an anonymous online survey. The survey will take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

This study has been approved by the University of Arizona IRB. If you have any questions, please contact Ileana Trujillo at ileanatrujillo@arizona.edu.
