phreddah
Here is an offer I was given for a Surgical PA position in General Surgery, in Minnesota. Here are the basics. Salary: $82,400 On Call: 4-6 days a month (possibly more, but no less); $150 to hold pager and hourly if called in ($50hr) CME $1500 Vacation 3 weeks + 7 holidays Basic health benefits and retirement, nothing fancy. The surgeons and PAs/NPs there are very nice and willing to teach, with that said... is it worth it to maybe make less to gain experience in a very friendly and willing to teach environment? Or is that just the rookie PA thinking? Any info would be very much appreciated!
