JKBrow13
If this is a dumb idea or if this has already been attempted before feel free to shoot me down, but I feel like it would be helpful to have reviews of programs from current students/alumni. The reason I say this, is because I feel like my program has several flaws that I wish I had know about before committing to the program. I remember when I was trying to decide on what school I wanted to join, I struggled getting an idea of students ACTUAL point of views on their program because the only time applicants interacted with current students was during interviews or pre-admission panels with faculty in attendance. I just think it would be useful to have anonymous critics of programs to help pre-PA students make informative decisions on where they want to go. To help them see the REAL parts of the program that might not be as obvious when meeting with representatives from the program who are being paid to make it look good. Some topics that I think would be helpful to discuss would be topics like, how well did the program itself prepare you for the PANCE? How supportive was the faculty? How well did the program find quality rotations? Do you feel like the program had qualified professors? Did you feel adequately prepared for rotations? Did the program use class-time well (not just busy work classes)? etc. Would love input on this! Thank you. 1
ohiovolffemtp
Your best and most truthful answers would come from recent graduates, not current students. They'd have better perspectives and a better ability to be candid. 1
