TXRugby
CNN Money rated Physician Assistant one of the best jobs in America, top 10. 49.65% projected growth over the next 10 years. "Pros: • The position is paid well for one requiring only a 2-year degree. • Employers often pick up associated insurance and licensing fees. Cons: • PA's can put in long hours, particularly in surgery. • Working on call can be required. • It can be boring: Assistants are frequently assigned the most mundane of doctors' tasks." This is the only line that worries me. I will be going for either Emergency Medicine or becoming a first assist orthopedic PA - which sounds like I'll have some variety, but still.. How true would you say this is? What are your experiences? I absolutely cannot have a mundane job. I strive for action and variety.
