New Grad in PA

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone

I'm graduating June 1st and matriculating into LECOM's APAP program (Greensburg) at the end of July.  I was wondering if anyone has any advice on possibly finding a per diem job?  I assume it would be very difficult to go through the licensing process, interviewing, and orienting at a new job all the while moving and getting ready for school.  I guess I'd just like to avoid adding more debt.  Does anyone have any thoughts on what they'd do in this situation or if it's even feasible?  Thanks.

No, it usually takes several weeks to several months to get any kind of meaningful credentialing done, once you pass the PANCE.  Best case scenario is that you would be able to work for a couple of weeks and then leave, with zero notice.  Not worth it in any way.  This couple weeks of lost salary isn't even noticeable in the larger scheme of things.  Good luck.
