student2011 Posted April 17, 2010 Share Posted April 17, 2010 Hi , I am planning to apply to PA schools in Northern california this fall. I am looking for Shadowing opportunities in the Bay area. I have called many hospitals and clinics but without any luck:sweat:. I have tried asking the schools too-but no repsonse. I would appreciate any feedback on how to find shadowing opportunities??? prncess23 Posted January 19, 2011 Share Posted January 19, 2011 You will not be able to shadow at any of the hospital becasue of the HIPPA law. Clinics are much more lienit. I shadowed a plastic surgeon at her clinic and it was awesome! keep trying. Im from the Bay area and there are MANY clinics out there that are willing to help. just get your phone book out.
