Jane0164
Anyone that took the Chicago course (or any review course) before the PANCE - how long did you wait after the course to take the PANCE? Would you recommend taking the PANCE a couple of days after the review course or would it be better to have a week or two break between the review course and the PANCE? coolbeans
I just took the three day review course and they recommended that we study for about 2 weeks after the course and then take the PANCE.

coolbeans
I was referring to the certified medical educator course which is different than the CME resources. I think that The CME resource is almost double the price and it is a five day course.

Jane0164
Thanks for the info, I signed up for the PANCE a little less than 2 weeks after I finish the CME course, hopefully that's enough time! I'm doing the 5 day CME course because it is offered in the city where I live.
donwinder
I took this 3 day course in Chicago also and I found it was an excellent review, well organized, and extremely helpful. The director is very passionate about education and helping the PA profession. I was very impressed with the whole thing. And the materials are very helpful for review. I am a recent graduate and found it to be a great condensation of didactic year. I would recommend the course to anyone. Btw, I am not getting paid or reimbursed at all, I just really thought it was a great course.
