NC_PA Posted July 20, 2011 Hello everyone, I have been given an offer and a contract for an UrgentCare position in the triangle area of NC. Base Salary: $81,000 Malpractice: $15,000 Liability coverage: 1,000,000/3,000,000 Signing Bonus: $1500.00 ( if signed within 3 weeks) Loan Repayment Year 1: $4,000 yearly Loan Repayment Year 2: $6,000 yearly Health Insurance (60%): $7,000.00 yearly CME: $1,200 Production Bonus Possible $8,000.00 yearly Hours are 40-48/week (one weekend day in the month) Vacation: 7 days in 1st year, 14 days subsequently It is the initial/first offer and I have not yet negotiated. I have friends who have offers for $57/hr in county hospital here in NC(though part time).So I am wondering how to negotiate this actually to what is at least fair. What do you think? Also does anyone know a reputable lawyer in the Triangle area of NC that can help me look at the entire contract?I have a couple of things I want changed or modified. Thanks!!!
