MSKristi Posted July 10, 2011 I have a research question that I am trying to do for a presentation and I am just not finding the material I am looking for. I need some opinions! The whole question is: Do you feel there should be one overaching national organization whose members are under the auspices of the main organization? I need to try and find some disadvantages or where I could go to find these! thanks
Just Steve Posted July 10, 2011 Looking at that question as a Nationally Registered Paramedic, I'd say no. The dynamic range of care providers from very rural to extremely urban, each area with their own unique demands for service would provide membership that is diverse as the human race. That diversity would not be well served by just one governing body. That body would have to be prohibitively large with a corresponding cost overhead to even approach the idea of providing adequate supervision and support services.
