solidsnake6794
Hi everyone. I am a junior in high school and I am interested in the Physician Assistant career. I am researching this occupation and I have a couple of questions. Before one applies to a PA program, what is a typical undergratuate degree that a person applying to the PA program should have? Also I understand that virtually all PA programs ask for medical experience. What kind of medical experience do students typically have? Thank you :=D:
Firemedic13
Please, please, please use the search function. Also, please look at the stickies. 98% of the answers you need have already been provided to others. Short version for the lazy: A bachelors degree that gets you the prerequisite courses (usually biology, biochem, or chem), and medical experience is usually phlebotomy, EMT, nursing, CNA (certified nursing assistant), or Medical Assistant. But there are other options. Check websites of programs you are interested in.
