ladyinred1 Posted March 26, 2015 Share Posted March 26, 2015 Hi friends, I will hopefully soon be in negotiations for a position at a varicose vein center under a vein surgeon and was curious about what others in this specialty considered an appropriate starting salary. Other helpful tidbits would be years of experience as a PA, experience in this particular field, and state where employed. I would appreciate any advice or words of wisdom! Purrpa Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 Did you end up taking this job? I've worked in this area on & off for 10 years, in both private practice & academic setting. I work in Michigan; my background was surgical & IR, which fit well with endovenous laser ablations and other Phlebology procedures. I was well accepted by patients.
