SzLPA
Any advice as I prepare to attend open house sessions? Is there a need/opportunity to give my CV or offer any info on my situation?
Just Steve
The open house session that I attended was more of them selling their program to you, rather than you trying to sell yourself to them. They want to convince you that their school is the one you should spend your tuition dollars on. So instead of a CV, show up with a list of well thought out questions that may help make your decision if you want to attend that program. Find out their attrition rate, their PANCE pass rate, tutoring programs, clinical rotation management, overseas rotation opportunities, community service projects that they want you to be involved in as a student, does the outline of an average day allow for a little personal time to see your spouse/kids, hit the gym, eat a real cooked meal...so on and so forth
