oldpastudent
I am curious to see how many schools use an outsider to prep students to pass the PANCE? Does school use an outsider or someone on campus / on staff?
swooshie1
Our program recommends outside sources (HIPPO PA, Kaplan) for study; we take 3-4 packrats beginning the last quarter of didactic year. The faculty recommend "goal scores" for Packrat, but do not provide any help to students who are borderline scorers or do poorly on packrats. Instead, they wait for students to actually fail PANCE, then they provide a remediation course to those students.
PAruby
Two years ago my program had a bad year in terms of PANCE pass rates. Last year, they brought in an outside refresher after all of our clinical rotations. They used Hancock Educational Learning PRograms (www.help-campus.com) and had a 100% pass rate. They opted to bring them back this year for my class, which I think is awesome!
