ohiopastudent
I am planning on taking the PANCE in August 2011....I really would like to take this review course. How far in advance do you recommend taking this course prior to taking the test? Thanks
Jim1504
Depends on a few factors but typically at least 30 days in advance. Some people use a course like this as a starting point to give them a foundation to build on and others use it as a last review right before the exam. I suggest take practice test, go through a review book reviewing sections and taking practice questions and finishing up with a course as a final review. Good luck
ohiopastudent
Few more questions....are the materials covered in this course available for printout so that review can be done closer to exam??? Also, would it be offered around April or May? this is somewhat of the deciding factor for me as to which review course I choose. I have it pretty much narrowed down to this one and the one in Chicago by certified medical educators.
Jim1504
We have not set the schedule yet but I am 99% sure there will be a course in April or May. Once you sign up for the course the syllabus is sent out.
ohiopastudent
So I will be able to print out all the lecture material to have to review before taking the exam?? Not just a syllabus right?
Jim1504
Once you sign up for the course you are sent a syllabus with copies of all the slides used in the course plus additional handouts as supplements to some of the material.
