everio
I will start my primary care job in 3 months. I would like to have a recommendation for a book to prepare for the job. I searched Amazon but don't know which one is the most useful. Someone suggested MGH pocket primary care handbook, but the print is too small for me. So I hope to have a regular size book to study. If someone has similar forthcoming job on primary care/internal medicine, we can study together through skype. Thank you.
beattie228
I really like the Case File Series. Both the Family Medicine and Internal Medicine ones would be applicable to you. They're easy reads with a ton of high use information that sticks better than a standard textbook, in my opinion.
sk732
Lange's Current Medical Diagnosis and Treatment is a good starter - easy to read and follow. Oxford Handbook of Clinical Medicine is an old favorite of mine, though the print can be small - there is an electronic version though. SK
