Primary Care Physician Assistant

DMHC is a large medical practice catering to adult and geriatric patients across the state of NC seeing over 600 patients per day. We offer primary and specialty care in assisted, independent and family care facilities as well as private homes. Our headquarters is based in Durham and employees over 150 talented and dedicated individuals performing various tasks to assist over 112 providers across the state. Clinician types include MD, DO, PA, NP, LCSW, PsyD, Podiatrist, Optometrist, Dentist, Audiologist and Psych NP.

As we expand into new communities we are interviewing for additional doctors, physician assistants and nurse practitioners. We seek tech savvy individuals who like variety, complex patients and autonomy in a fast paced but very flexible role. Currently, we have openings in two new regions. Candidates will need to reside within 15-20 minutes of the region.

On an average day you will visit 2 assisted living facilities seeing about 15 patients total. Clinicians operate remotely, communicating with all parties by phone, email, text and EMR. Administrative days/tasks are performed from your home office.

Working in the community requires face to face interactions with patients, facility staff, vendors, caregivers and family members.
