NP/PA - Critical Care Nocturnist (ARRMC ICU Intensivists)
Asante is seeking a Critical Care Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Critical Care/ICU department at Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center. Provider will perform 7pm 7am shifts in the ICU/CCU, 7 nights on - 7 nights off, 159 shifts a year.
The Critical Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide direct care for patients in our critical care departments and will be responsible for rounding on patients on our service and enter brief progress notes on patient intervened on, and bill appropriately. Provider will work closely with the nocturnal intensivist to decide on a treatment plan for new and existing patients.

Requirements: Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program or Physician Assistant Program approved by the American Medical Association.
Licensure: Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensed by Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed by the Oregon Board of Medical Examiners (OBME). Must have an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Competencies: Prior experience with high acuity ICU patients. Must have ability to analyze problems, recognize cause and devise solutions. Procedural competency (central line, arterial line placement, HD line placements, etc.) is required. Additional procedural proficiencies are a plus.
