PA or physician assistant (character limit)

I am a bit higher than the character limit and was wondering do I have to write physician assistant every time or can I write PA after writing physician assistant the first time in my personal statement.

I used Physician Assistant the first time and PA from then on. I didn't want there to be any doubt that I knew what the full title of the profession.

If you have to ask the question, then either you have a fantastically complex life, or you need better focus in your essay. I haven't read yours, but based on a hypothetical average personal statement, the latter is most likely to be true.
