PTO and resignation

I am about 6 months into this year's contract. Contract stipulates 5 days CME and I have 7 days PTO left. I am resigning this week. Can I use those twelve days to shorten my 60 days notice to 48?

Should probably ask your HR dept. Your PTO is your's and should be paid out regardless. Some places will let you use your PTO as part of your notice. My guess is that they could refuse to give you the CME days unless you are actually using them for CME.
