Hi!

Well, I thought that I read somewhere that PhilaU does require the GRE but then when I went to look I couldn't find it on the website. But this website (http://www.mypatraining.com/physician-assistant-programs-in-pennsylvania) says that it does require the GRE. Hopefully someone else might have a more definite answer for you! Otherwise, you can always contact the school!

Oh, found it! http://www.philau.edu/paprogram/paappmatgrad.htm so apparently you don't have to have it to apply but if you get accepted you'll have to take it.

Good luck!

It's kind of weird...my daughter is in the 3+2 program and they have to take the GRE before they begin their final two years. Mind you, the score does not count, they just have to have taken it. Nobody prepares for it...they just walk in cold and take it. Maybe it's some accreditation requirement in Penn. that you must take the GRE if you're in a graduate program?

I think the dispute is settled, but I'd like to mention that the GRE is NOT required, as it says on the PA directory on the PAEA website. Based upon other schools, "not required" means, even if you took the GRE, the school that does "not require" it will not care about/look at your score. It becomes a moot point.
