blblue
Hello everyone! This is round 2 for me! I spent the past year improving my stats by doubling my work experience hours, getting involved in volunteering and I'm hoping to shadow 1 more PA in the next couple weeks before I resubmit my applications. I decided to retake my cadaver anatomy course because I got a C the first time I took it. But I am curious, is it okay to ask a professor for a letter of recommendation if you have retaken the class? I have a really good relationship with him so I think he would be a great person to ask, but I don't want to be risky. Thanks!
greenmood
You need to have a conversation with him. Don't ask if he will write you a letter, ask if he feels he can write you a great letter and give him details of what the letter needs to include. Most professors aren't interested in sabotaging their students' career prospects, so odds are he will be honest with you.
