Survey on "Practicing Medicine"

Recommended Posts

SURVEY: If you go to a "Medical Office" ask to see a "Family Doctor", see a "Doctor" and recieve a prescription and an injection would you assume you saw a Medical Doctor?

If you assumed you saw a Medical Doctor you are possibly incorrect...

The office i am rotating in shares the space 3 days a week with a Chiropractor, this new patient came in looking for a family doctor when the Family Practice was closed, he told the receptionis he wanted to see a "Family Doctor" was seen by the Chiropractor (who did not establish that she was a Chiropractor), She listened to his lungs and heart, gave him an injection (Niacin and B12 she told him, also perforated the vein in his hand that she injected it into) and wrote a prescription for an "Herbal Gel"...

Is illegal. It is impersonating a physician. PAs can be guilty of the same if they are not clear who they are.
