frenchy
I have two letters of reference already written. One is from a PA I have shadowed and work with on occasion. Second is from a NP that I have been on two medical missions trips with. I am having trouble deciding who to ask the third from. I am thinking about asking my boss who is one of the vice presidents of the organization I work for. I have worked for him for 7 years. Do you think this is an acceptable third letter? patachok
If he is not in the medical field or a teacher from academics, I would not. Think about a professor may, always a good idea.
frenchy
I have other physicians that I have done medical trips with that I could ask. Is that better?
marktheshark89
I think getting one from a professor or someone who can speak to your academic prowess would be best.
Allegro
Do any of the PA programs you are applying to have requirements as to who your letter writers are? If so, that may make your decision for you.
patachok
I have other physicians that I have done medical trips with that I could ask. Is that better? Yes, i think so. However, like somebody said, check with your programs for any specific requirements.
