winterallsummer
Does anyone know of any series similar to these (MedMaster) books? eg overviews of topics broken down and written in a very readable format? I have more or less read all of these series and was still wanting more.

winterallsummer
Do these break things down or are they more like outline format? I looked at a couple a while back and it seemed more like condensed version of notes. Can you give me an example of a couple good ones (eg is the surg one good)? winterallsummer
Ah okay. I will def check it out, thanks for the recommendation. However I am really looking for books that go into more detail/understanding as opposed to outline books if you know of any? And ones not written in the terrible classic textbook style. Andreasmo
I ran into this list the other day so I thought I would pass it along. I haven't read or even reviewed any of the books, but I have heard they're helpful. The blueprints series, high yield (I think this one just may have neuroanatomy and immunology), first aid series, and board review series. I love the simple series too so ill let you know my opinion of the others if I have a chance to check them out.
Guest
I agree with the blueprint series!
Jorge
I like the "case files" series of books from Lange. They present cases and then give a well rounded explanation. Even some practice questions and clinical pearls at the end of each section.
