Need Advice on Getting in to P.A. School Preferably in California

Recommended Posts

I currently am attending University of La Verne my current cumulative gpa is 3.2 I still however have quite a workload ahead of me and am hoping to strengthen my gpa as much as possible but I do have two f's on my transcript that I unfortunately can not remove or retake. I am a CMA and am currently out of a job and going to school full time. I have a friend who is a P.A. and is willing to let me shadow her for experience and would have no problem writing me a letter of recommendation so I am covered on the experience and letter portion but I would like some advice on what I should do about my grades the Programs that I am most interested in are

Western university Pomona CA

Touro University Vallejo CA

Loma Linda University Loma Linda CA (however i would have to work more hours to meet the requirement)

If anyone is in the process or has been accepted to any of these schools I would greatly appreciate some help in regards to my grades and chances of getting in.

I understand this program is competitive and I am trying incredibly hard to get my grades where they need to be but I'm so scared my past "F's" on my transcripts will haunt me.:=-0:

Any advice IS GREATLY appreciated :=D:

Thanks
