Hadiwood Posted February 20, 2013 Hi all, is anyone interviewing on March 12th? Let's keep in touch.:=D:
sportsmedmom Posted February 20, 2013 I am interviewing as well. Anyone know anything about the format?
Hadiwood Posted February 20, 2013 Author Congrats to all of us! I'm not sure how the interview process works there but it's supposed to be 830-230 which seems like there will be several components to the interview.
Hadiwood Posted February 20, 2013 Author Where is everyone staying? Marriot? I'm thinking about staying there for one night (before interview) then going to SF for the remainder of the week.
sean brady Posted February 21, 2013 Haven't book my room yet. I heard there was a research paper as apart of the interview format. Has anyone experienced something like that?
Hadiwood Posted February 21, 2013 Author Sounds like they would give us a topic and go online to for the research...I'm assuming it can't be that long..
afriedman13 Posted March 23, 2013 Has anyone heard back from the march 12th interview date? I know it's still early, but thought I'd ask.
samitch3 Posted April 12, 2013 Does anyone know how they will inform you upon acceptance into the program?
leon14 Posted April 13, 2013 Hey guys, to those that have already interviewed, how did the interview process go? Im interviewing this upcoming Tuesday. Any tips? Thanks in advance !
sportsmedmom Posted April 16, 2013 I'm in! Good luck to those still waiting! A lot to do between now and then and thousands of miles to go!
sarduarkar Posted April 17, 2013 Does anyone know how they will inform you upon acceptance into the program? I believe they said they will inform you ~ 2 weeks from interview date (correct me if I'm wrong). Everyone should receive a snail mail with a decision (Accepted, Waitlist, Rejection). They also additionally give you a call if you are accepted from my experience. Although, I have heard of people receiving acceptances in the mail without a phone call. Hey guys, to those that have already interviewed, how did the interview process go? Im interviewing this upcoming Tuesday. Any tips? Thanks in advance ! As cliche as it sounds, be yourself. Putting up a front usually leads to generic answers spurred by trying to tell adcoms what they want to hear. Review your own application and know it like the back of your hand. Practice, practice, practice (get others to help with mock interviews) till you feel comfortable enough to be able to spit out thoughtful and honest answers at a moments notice. Calming your nerves for such a big occasion is probably the hardest thing, and practice is usually the best remedy.
