Deadliftyourspirits
In addition to being an ER tech I also work in a grants office for the school of public health of a major university in a completely administrative role. My boss, the dean of research and sponsored programs and a principal investigator/professor here, has offered to write me a LOR. Would this hold any weight in my application or am I better off sticking to exclusively clinical and academic LOR's. Thanks, Arjun
GatorRRT
I'd have him write the letter, worst case you decide to not use it.
beattie228
Might be an interesting perspective for LORs pending you have 2 solid clinical ones. A letter coming from the Dean of a major public health program would certainly be able to attest to your academic abilities pending what roles you serve in his organization. As Gator mentioned, have him write it, and worse case you can always decide to not use it as one of your 3 for your CASPA.
Deadliftyourspirits
I suppose having my boss write one can't hurt. Thanks, guys.
