Most people that have applied apply to multiple schools and then are hoping to get into their #1 pick so there will be a phase of people denying and more people getting called. I applied five years ago and did not get in, so I got my MBA and have been working in a professional job for a few years. Since then, I have take their advice and shadowed more and learned more about the PA profession. I decided to apply again and five years later, I am in. Sometimes it takes a few tries and persistence to get in. I never would have said this five years ago, but I am thankful I didn't get in the first try because I feel better prepared now.
