cac4488
Curious - is there enough extra value in doing a joint MPH that it would be worthwhile to go to a lesser-known program to be able to do the joint? You can always go back and get an MPH later... But if deciding between a top program with just the PA vs a lesser known plus MPH... What factors would you consider? Other than cost, because obviously the extra year adds cost.
Guest
Depends on what you want to do and if MPH interests you. Do you know what goes into MPH degree? My friend in MPH/PA program keeps telling me about his MPH projects which made me realize I wouldn't be caught dead doing an MPH degree. So what do you want to do? Just being a PA? Consider the length of joined programs and ask yourself if you really would want to do anything related to public health in the future.
