jmj11
In a sudden about face, Israel is now recognizing PAs and NPs. See the Jerusalem Post article. But also notice the title of the article, "Doctor's Assistants." I doubt if there will be any sudden demand because already several PAs and NPs live in Israel and have been fighting for this chance to work in their professions. So, unless you have a special talent, you may not find work easily.
sscheinfe
This is amazing news!! I have created a facebook group for all current and future PAs who are in Israelor who want to move to Israel, in an effort to further discuss the situation and come together as a group. Please tell all! Physician Assistants in Israel http://www.facebook.com/groups/426356327435108/
MedicinePower
Awesome. I wonder if an Israeli university would offer a true 2 year PA->MD bridge. There are already several Israeli medical schools that cater to US students who wish to study in Israel but return to the US to be physicians. http://medicine.tau.ac.il/english/index.php/ny/about http://www.cumc.columbia.edu/dept/bgcu-md/
