JohnFerguson
I plan to graduate from PA school, take my board exam and then begin work shortly after taking my exam. I am hoping to get a job in Indiana in any field to begin. Just wondering what the laws state as far as working prior to knowledge of passing the NCCPA exam and obviously prior to state licensure. Of course, I would not be functioning as a PA-C at this point, but am I able to be hired and work basically as a student under my employer/supervising physician until I get work I have gained all necessary licenses? I would not sign or order anything personally until this point. I am unable to find this clearly stated in the Indiana laws. Any thoughts? What did the rest of you do? gebaldwi
As you know, it is state specific if you can get a temp license and work before being certified or not. The AAPA has all the info you need, just log in and search the site. :)
