RedCupster Posted June 19, 2024 I work as a Vision Therapist where I work with patients with convergence insufficiency and different forms of strabismus. I work directly with patients under the supervision of an optometrist. Some schools count my work experience as Patient Care, some count it as Health Care. For the schools that do count my experience as Patient Care, would they still value my experience less since it is work done in an optometry setting? I will have approximately 1000 hours of this experience when I apply next year, but I am worried about my experience being perceived as less valuable. I really appreciate anyone's thoughts, thank you!! Quote
