drgamble14 Posted June 11, 2024 I've been looking through the forum, and not seeing many people talking much about the military scholarships that are offered through the Army, Navy, or Air Force. First just wondering why that is, do not many PAs go that route? For those PAs that have, what has been your experience? I did some ROTC in undergrad, a very long time ago, and end up quitting because they never paid me, but have tried joining since a few times, just never did because I had a DUI on my recorded and wanted to join as an officer, not enlisted (so I would really need to find out if they would even consider me because of that first). My brother used the Army scholarship to pay for his dental school and said it was worth it. I do want to go into surgery or OBGYN so I'm not sure how pigeonholed I would be in a certain area if I did do the military scholarship. Quote
