jmj11
Have you had any luck with a trans-dermal local anesthetic? I'm starting to do Botox on teens and the last one found hard because of her needle phobia. But I thought doing some lidocaine gel first for all my patients to reduce their anxiety for future treatments (35 injections). I have used refrigerants for trigger point injections in the past, but that wouldn't be practical. But if I remember right the lidocaine gel doesn't penetrate the dermis that well and is more of a placebo. What's your thoughts? I'm going off the grid in 30 minutes so I'll check back in 9 days. BTW, greetings from Casablanca!
medic25
EMLA cream (lidocaine/prilocaine) is always an option; you just need to give it plenty of time to absorb for efficacy.
