Mvalentine2419
I'm an undergrad at Rutgers U. right now. I want to go to PA school, but the chem department is known for being extremely hard. I don't need chem for my major, so I'm looking into taking it at a community college and transferring the credit. Would PA admissions committees look unfavorably on that? Moderator EMEDPA Posted October 24, 2012 Moderator Share Posted October 24, 2012 that would be fine. just get the coursework done at an accredited school and you should be fine.
promisee
Some schools require that you take prereqs at a 4 year institution so it depends on the school
alster
You don't even need to transfer the credit I believe... When applying you'll just have to send the transcript from the community college to CASPA along with your rutgers one and any other transcripts you might have. As long as you've proven your ability to handle upper level science coursework, most schools won't look down on you taking chem at a cc.
