Very Positive Report

Recommended Posts

I don't know if this was posted here or not. Dave Mittman sent it to me. I just had time to read the whole thing the other day. I think it is profound. Just notice this line:

“Due to various regulations and restrictions, many professionals are not practicing at the ‘top of their license,’ meaning that they are not performing the work that reflects the fullest extent of their education and training. The time that a physician spends performing a task that a nurse practitioner (NP), physician assistant (PA) , . . . drives up health care cost unnecessarily.”

I had a discussion today with my congressman over House bill (HR2729) and this paper was very helpful during our conversation.
