lauraashley
I am a newborn hearing screener at a hospital. I put electrodes on newborn babies and conduct automated brainstem response testing in order to detect a possible problem with the auditory nerve. I educate the parents about hearing and prevention and the results of the testing. Does this seem like it would fit under countable HCE?
Just Steve
Talk to the school(s) you are interested in. My first thought was "probably not" but never hurts to ask. Was there any formal education for that job or just on the job training? Have any sort of certification?
Will352ns
Yes, talk to your schools. It seems like a very limited scope of practice. Ask yourself this, does that relate to the type of work a PA does?
