Science GPA

Recommended Posts

What classes count towards science gpa besides the nontraditional? Nutrition? Also, I'm minoring in recreational therapy which is in my undergrad's college of science and health, would these classes also count? I am trying to do anything and everything to raise my sGPA. Thanks!

I had the same question about my nutrition classes. The CASPA site listed:

  • Biology/Zoology
  • Inorganic Chemistry
  • Biochemistry
  • Organic Chemistry
  • Other Science
  • Physics

Did it turn out nutrition classes are considered "other science"? If so, this is a God send for me...

You read it wrong....a WF is counted as a 0 because your school is saying essentially you failed the class.....W and WP are not counted at all

I withdrew from Gen Chem 2 for a "W" grade my Freshman year. CASPA counts that as a 0 just like an F in their GPA calcuations?!?!?! Please tell me that I read that wrong. Anybody have any knowledge on this?

Just_Me thanks for the help. Do you know if a 12 credit nuclear medicine clinical application internship course counts towards science GPA? It is essentially our clinicals where we practice everything we learned the year before on real patients and a hospital. We had tests and presentations constantly. It's all science and hands on.

Not sure....if anything maybe "other science" but that is truly up to CASPA

When I calculated on my own I went with worse case scenario which was good because then I was pleasantly surprised by my CASPA calculation as opposed to disappointed
