ilyklu
Need opinion on this offer! New grad looking to get experience to open door to other jobs. Not my forever job. - Base pay of $90,000 - 14 shifts/month at 12 hours each, working every other weekend - $1500 CME - 401k up to 6% match - Pay malpractice and tail coverage - Reviews every 6 months with opportunity for raise - 2 weeks PTO - Health, dental, vision day 1 They do ~2 weeks worth of buddy shifts prior to being on your own…doesn’t feel like much. Any thoughts would be appreciated!
Moderator EMEDPA Posted July 28, 2022 Moderator Share Posted July 28, 2022 Pay is a bit low @ 44.64/hr. Benefits are ok. On your own after 2 weeks for a new grad is a prescription for disaster. Hard pass.
VentiMacchiato
This was the entry level pay for FP 15 years ago. Shift differentials for the weekends of $1/hr?
ilyklu
No shift diff. They came up to 95k and will increase to 100k once my 500 hours of supervised prescribing are done. 6 month raises are 5k minimum. Idk. They asked if could start Monday, as in 4 days from now which is a little alarming
