What version of PANCE Prep Pearls are current students using? Other book recommendations?

I've heard different versions of PPP have outdated information and typos. What's the best version to get? Or even better, does anyone have recommendations for other books that may be more reliable? Everyone either completely loves or completely hates PPP, and I don't know what to make of that.

The most up to date version is V4. I’m a current student using version 3. Works great for quick review of all diagnosis and clinical presentation. Used it to review for packrat and had good success. If you struggle with pathophysiology you may want another book to supplement. I use free online resources for pathophys.

I enjoy the series "Made Ridiculously Simple" by MedMaster, particularly their pathophysiology book. They provide an excellent foundation and make things ridiculously simple. Their cardiology books were awesome too.

I second for First Aid for Step 2 CK! I also used Step-up series books. 

During rotations my favorite book was Boards and Wards for the USMLE, the best part is that it fits into a white coat pocket
