I am in the process of obtaining my license as a Certified Nursing Assistant to gain my DPC. Currently I am looking to find any shadowing opportunities in South Florida area (Miami-Dade or Broward County). I am completely open minded to any specialty, and would appreciate the chance to shadow any Physician Assistant. Nat97 Posted August 1, 2022 Share Posted August 1, 2022 Hey Koalie. I also was a student UCF and got my DPC hours as a CNA. It's really hard to find PAs to shadow, especially since covid. Once I got my CNA license I worked as a Patient care tech at Nemours Children's Hospital, and already working at a hospital I was able to ask PA's I worked with if I could come in on my days off to shadow. A lot of the times you can make these connections once you're working in the field! I also am from South Florida and was able to shadow a PA at Cleveland Clinic hospital in Weston. If you private message me, I can send you the email of the person in charge of shadowing there.
