Hey everyone! I didn't see a topic started yet for WVU so thought I would start one. I submitted 5/31 and went under review this morning, 6/1. Wondering how long it might take to hear back and if interviews will be in person or virtual this year.

I think they should start sending invites this month since I believe interviews begin in August. Fingers crossed!

I wouldn’t think so. On their website it says to have your application in by August 1st to be considered for an early interview

Has anyone heard anything about their status? I know last year the began sending invites around this time since they conduct all interview during the month of August and send acceptances September 1-15.

I just got an interview invite yesterday! However, I will be declining because I was accepted elsewhere. Good luck!

Hi there,

I received an interview for WVU and while I am very excited to have the opportunity to interview for this program, I do have some apprehension about the tuition. It is substantially higher than a few other programs that I have also applied for and I am just curious if anyone knows of any scholarships or if the program offers something specific to offset the tuition gap. I am an out of state applicant and would like to hear another voice on the matter.

they only held interviews 8/8, 8/10, 8/22, and 8/24 I believe

I haven't yet but during my interview they said I should hear back towards the end of September.

That’s odd, I was told beginning-mid September and the website also lists Sept 1-15 as when decisions come out

I had a later interview date, so maybe that's why they told me towards later September, but you are right because I just got my acceptance email!

Thank you! Yes, I am in-state. I had a 3.95 GPA, about 850 hours of PCE, 720 hours of HCE, 125 hours of volunteer work, and 30 hours of shadowing. I am waiting to hear back from one other school, but yes I plan on accepting. Good luck, I'm sure you'll hear from them soon!

I haven't heard yet. I've been checking my email multiple times an hour!

I was told that we would hear back within two weeks and it was two weeks yesterday...I'm really tempted to call, but I also don't want to be that person

I was told approx. 3 weeks from when I interviewed on the 30th if that maybe makes you feel any better.

So does this mean I’m waitlisted or? It’s just super vague lol.
