allieprePA
hey yall - in need of some encouragement/advice I am still in my undergrad and this semester I took A&P 2 and dropped the ball. There was an exam that I completely forgot about (yes, I know, it is on me) but I will be getting out of the class with a C. It is one of my PA reqs and I know it will be looked at when I apply. Should I re-take the class or keep pushing through? I still need to take a few other science pre-reqs and hopefully that will balance me out? I don't know, feeling very frustrated with myself as A&P 2 is not easy. Any advice or feedback would be great.
UGoLong
You probably should retake the class at some point. (If you think it "isn't easy," just wait until you get to PA school.) It sounds like you took the combined A&P class. Many programs instead require the separate anatomy and then a separate physiology. Make sure you are taking the right class for the schools you expect to apply to. Personally, I think pathophysiology is a fairly typical PA school-like class. Good luck!
