Submitted: 05/15 Verified: 05/16 Emory Received: 05/16 Interview Invite: 05/18 I did not have a stellar GPA, so don't be discouraged if you're less than average, as long as you have above a 3.0! I’ll remain on their list of considerations until the end of November. Congrats to those who have received interview invites. On CASPA it does not show Chemistry II as a prereq but on Emory's website it says 8 semesters of general chemistry with lab. Does anyone know if they require a second Chemistry? They require 8 semester hours, or also known as 8 credit hours. So yes in a sense that’s including chem 2. I don’t think there is a gen chem 1 with a lab that fits 8 credits. I also got this email today and was 1) confused and then 2) bummed, as the more I thought about it, the more it seemed like they were just holding onto it in case they still had spots open at the end of the interview cycle or someone dropped out?
