ccottrill53
Hello. Has anyone else struggled with organic Chemistry during their undergrad? I got a low grade in both and I have to retake them during the summer. Will that interfere with my chances of getting into PA school? UGoLong
Some programs don't require organic and, regardless, showing that you stayed with it and learned the material could be a plus for you.

I had to retake general chem I and II and still got into PA school. Don't be discouraged! Retaking it and doing better just shows that you learned and grew. Don't think that it is an end all. there's far more to the application to show you as a person anyway, so grades are not the only thing taken into consideration. As long as you keep showing growth and hard work! You got this!
Moderator EMEDPA Posted April 21, 2022 Moderator Share Posted April 21, 2022 MANY fine programs do not require ochem. I never took it. If it was required I would have applied to medschool.
