Riyaa
Hello everyone, I failed two classes in nursing school ( it was a pass or fail class) the reason of failure was due a deadline issue and not a academic reasons. I have a 4.0 science GPA and 3.8 regular GPA. I changed my major to psychology and minoring in chemistry. I have tons of patient care hours. I am a founder of a nonprofit; therefore, I have a lot of volunteer hours as well. I am thinking to apply to PA school in the next cycle; however, I am very nervous to have 2 F in the transcripts. I wanted to get some input on my chances to get accepted into the program?
UGoLong
Your chances have everything to do with what you do next as far as classes you take, HCE you get, and references for your application. Applying to PA school right now is probably not a good idea. Becoming a PA because you couldn't get through RN school is likely not a winning strategy. Deciding that you want a different career and taking steps to prepare for it is a much better choice. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, learn from the lesson, and move on. Good luck.
