Is anyone familiar with this EMR, "Amazing Charts" ?

Recommended Posts

Unless you would be filling essentially an urgent care/walk-in clinic role that is FAR too many patients per day - I know you know that.  But, even in an urgent care/walk-in clinic that is pushing it unless it's 10-12 hour shifts...even though that has become par for the course.

But, I've never even heard of Amazing Charts EMR.

I have never heard of that EMR either.  Also, I had no intention of seeing 35 patients daily.  Patient reviews of the practice online bore out all the negatives of such a load.  Satisfaction rating was a 2 out of 5.  Looking for a good site to check for part time Family medicine PA in Houston, TX.

The google search for the EMR was surprisingly positive with good reviews. I had never heard of it but it looks like it might be decent.

The concept of that many patients a day is McDonalds Medicine - 'do you want fries with that? please pull thru'. There is zero quality in that kind of quantity.

Check out the VA CBOCs (community clinics) or VA in general in the area. See if they need a float provider in Primary Care. A very experienced PA makes a great float provider who can switch gears quickly. VA benefits are amazing. Not a horrible place to work - there is no perfect place.

Stay out of McDonalds............. figuratively and literally.
