RodneyP
I'm kinda new to this so i have a question. Any time I have one I will post it here. So i know you have to do 4 year of pre req before you can enter the Pa program. So for the 4 year can you: 1. Do it at any college 2. Do it on colleges that have the Pa program 3. Or something else. I live in NY, if you wanted to know. Going to be a Junior in HS once school starts. So its an important year for me.
beattie228
The question you're going to get bombarded with is why are you not planning to go med school if you're a junior in high school? Anyway, to answer your questions: 1.) You can take them at any university or community college, 2.) Most programs do not pay any special attention to which school you take your prerequisites at or if it's at the same school as your desired PA school, 3.) This is not a question... mackjacks
Since your questions have been answered, I'll add that there are programs you can enter into from HS where you do 3 years of undergrad and 2 years of PA school. They are tough and to pass into the PA school part you have to maintain a certain GPA and get healthcare experience (HCE) but if you are set on PA they are an option. It requires a lot of maturity as it means you'd be ~23 and a PA.
