PACali
https://health.ucdavis.edu/nursing/academics/programs/mhs-pa.html Just curious regarding this program, it is very interesting to see the program is part of school of nursing. Also, I don't see too many PAs in the faculty position. Mostly NPs. https://health.ucdavis.edu/nursing/ourteam/faculty/faculty_index.html For those who went through the program, were you mostly taught by NPs? Hi, We were formerly part of the school of medicine but a few years ago transitioned to school of nursing. However, it is still medicine based like any other PA program. We follow the PANCE blueprints for each organ system. Also no, we are not mostly taught by NPs. All that faculty listed is for the entire school of nursing which includes the NP and Master's in Nursing programs. Majority of the faculty is either a PA, MD, or dual PA & NP. We do have some NP faculty teach us but that isn't the majority. I don't see that an issue as in the real world we will be working alongside NPs as well. Additionally, for each medicine block, we have mostly MDs coming to teach us the medicine either from UC Davis Health or outside practices.
